Garden Pea & Walnut Hummus
Makes 8 servings (~2 Tablespoons each)

INGREDIENTS
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1.5 cup frozen green peas, thawed
1/3 cup raw walnuts
1/2 lemon, juiced
1/4 cup fresh basil
Salt & pepper, to taste
Whole grain pita breads/flatbreads/baguettes, grilled

DIRECTIONS

  1. In food processor, puree ingredients until smooth.
  2. Serve hummus spread with grilled breads.
  3. Optional: top hummus with chopped walnuts, basil, and drizzle of olive oil
