Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Dessert Panini
serves 4

INGREDIENTS
2 Tablespoons dark chocolate chips
2 Tablespoons natural peanut butter
4 slices thin whole grain bread, crust removed*
1 banana, cut into thin slices lengthwise (about 12)

DIRECTIONS
  1. Melt chocolate in double boiler. Stir in peanut butter.
  2. Make 2 sandwiches: spread dark chocolate peanut butter on bread + top with sliced bananas
  3. Toast sandwiches in lightly oiled pan – about 2 minutes per side (until bread is crisp/browned)
  4. Cut sandwiches into 8 triangles, serve and enjoy (optional: dust with powdered sugar)

*Note: if bread is too thick, flatten with rolling pin
