Fried Brown Rice with Asparagus & Almonds
Serves 8
INGREDIENTS
1 bunch of asparagus, steamed and cut diagonally into 2 inch pieces
1 can (15 oz) garbanzo beans - rinsed, drained, chopped
1/2 cup almonds, slivered and toasted
4 green onions, chopped
Sauce:
2 T rice vinegar
2 T sesame oil
2 T light soy sauce
2 T garlic, minced
2 T fresh ginger, minced
DIRECTIONS

*Variation: substitute cubed tofu for garbanzo beans
