California Burger
serves 6

INGREDIENTS
2 cans garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
1-2 Tablespoons olive oil
3 green onions, finely chopped
1 large carrot, shredded
Salt & pepper to taste
1/3 - 1/2 cup whole wheat flour

Toppings:
1.5 cups brocco-sprouts
1 avocado
1 medium tomato
6 Tablespoons BBQ sauce

6 whole grain hamburger buns

DIRECTIONS
  1. In food processor or with hand blender, puree beans and oil until smooth.
  2. Stir in onions, carrots, salt & pepper. Add in flour until mixture comes together.
  3. Form 6 patties.
  4. Cook in skillet or on grill until each side is browned (about 4 minutes per side).
  5. Put burger on bun; pile each burger high with sprouts, avocado, tomato and BBQ sauce.

Serve and enjoy!
