A new study has me rethinking what it means to eat a side salad…
The study revealed those who regularly eat green leafy vegetables such as spinach 🌿 have the memory of people 11 years younger. Woah.
Why I love this study….for me this was a reminder that you don’t have to eat buckets of salad to get benefit. The results were found when participants ate just 1/2 cup daily.
So, I’m inspired to eat more small side salads. However, when I typed simple side salad recipes into the world wide web…there’s nothing simple about what I found. Recipes w/ homemade dressings, candied nuts, DIY croutons, tons of ingredients to chop…
Well this just isn’t right. That’s all wrong!
Side salads should not be an ordeal.
Let a simple pile of greens be the star.
MAKE A LITTLE GREEN SALAD:
Just stick your hand in a bag of greens, add a little basic flavor, and eat already.
