Have you ever eaten a super healthy meal and then later sabotaged yourself by BINGING or GRAZING on a bunch of junk? If this sounds familiar, read on…
Having meals that are BORING or too HEALTHY leaves you unsatisfied & WANTING MORE….so that’s why we start BINGING & GRAZING.
You can FIX THIS by adding more enjoyment to mealtime…a.k.a. FUN UP YOUR MEALS.
You gotta be BOTH physically full + MENTALLY satisfied from a meal to truly feel at peace with food.
FOUR WAYS TO FUN UP YOUR MEALS:
👉ASK YOURSELF what you actually WANT to eat. This is the missing piece of all “diets.” It’s the most MAGICAL thing you can do for a healthy relationship w/ food.
👉Plan meals w/ a THEME. Themes make healthy eating creative & fun. Examples HERE.
👉Add a feel-good INGREDIENT. Just one simple ingredient can make a boring meal more satisfying. Examples: A few sweet potato fries, crushed tortilla chips in a salad, a drizzle of creamy dressing, a dollop of guacamole, a sprinkle of granola.
“Adulting” usually means having less and less fun in our days. Bringing FUN back (especially w/ healthy eating) is the secret to success.💫
CHALLENGE: ADD A DOZEN MINUTES!
The average family only spends 12 minutes together at the table during mealtime! Something needs to change…
That’s why I’m so excited to team up with Eggland’s Best and their Family Meals Pledge campaign encouraging families to commit to staying at the table for an ADDITIONAL “DOZEN” MINUTES. Eggland’s Best is a proud supporter of the American Heart Association’s Healthy For Good movement, and together they’re educating families on the importance of eating nutritious meals together at the table.
HERE’S THE CHALLENGE: From NOW until October 1, go to THIS LINK to take the FAMILY MEALS PLEDGE. Just CLICK “I pledge to spend an additional DOZEN minutes at mealtime with my family while enjoying nutritious meals”… and you will be entered to win $5,000 toward a family vacation & have a chance to win a variety of instant prizes, too.
While you’re spending more time at the table sharing meals with your family, don’t forget to include Eggland’s Best eggs – they are the only eggs I recommend to my clients and family with great taste and superior nutrition such as 6X more vitamin D, 25% less saturated fat, and 10X more vitamin E than ordinary eggs!
This post is sponsored by Eggland’s Best, but the thoughts and opinions are my own.
