Over the weekend, I was in the mood for a PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE. And I wanted it to be easy, low-sugar, and protein-packed.
After a few experiments, I got it! The perfect speedy PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE. It gets its creamy latte vibes + 10g of protein from… HEMP SEEDS!

Pumpkin Spice Latte
1 cup brewed coffee or tea
3 tablespoons hemp seeds
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
In a blender, add all ingredients and blend until smooth & frothy. Can be enjoyed hot or cold. YUM.

– Buy “hulled hemp seeds” or “hemp hearts.”
– Use an actual blender, not a coffee frother. The blender is needed to break down the hemp seeds & make them creamy.
– You can add 1 tablespoon of canned pumpkin to this recipe, but I didn’t to keep it minimal ingredients.
– Make this with your favorite coffee OR make it with your favorite tea such as ginger tea, fennel tea, turmeric tea, earl grey, or matcha.
