Looking for a fun, balanced, and easy summer dinner?
Try this: Chicken & Fries Caesar Wrap!
One of the biggest nutrition issues I see is that people have too strict a definition of what “healthy” is! Many people think healthy meals have to be plain grilled chicken with steamed broccoli, and that anything enjoyable is automatically “bad.”
This strict definition of “healthy” is a problem because:
– It makes food feel like a moral issue (it’s not).
– It can lead to all-or-nothing eating, either you’re “on track” or “off the rails” (and that yo-yo mindset is exhausting)!
– It ignores that enjoyment is the key to being consistent with lifelong healthy eating.
I like to think of a meal being “healthy” by using this mental checklist:
1. Does it have a balance of colorful produce + protein + quality carbs + healthy fat to nourish my cells?
2. Do I actually enjoy eating it and feel good afterward?
And with that “healthy” checklist, this Chicken & Fries Caesar Wrap hits all the marks of being a balanced, enjoyable, and nourishing meal. Hope you give it a try…
