Ingredients
Hemp pancakes:
- 1 banana
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons buckwheat flour
- 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
Turmeric honey:
- 1 teaspoon of turmeric
- 1/4 cup of honey
- pinch of black pepper
Directions
In a small bowl, mix together honey, turmeric, and black pepper. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, mash banana until smooth, mix in egg until well combined, add buckwheat flour and hemp seeds and mix until it creates a batter.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and lightly mist with olive oil. Add batter to skillet to form 4 pancakes and cook for about 2 minutes per side or until golden.
Plate pancakes and top with a drizzle of turmeric honey. You'll have extra honey so have fun using it in oatmeal, plain yogurt, hot tea, or hot lemon water! Or even try it as a face mask!
