“Eat less processed food.” Here’s what that means:
Just about EVERY food is processed to some degree like pre-cut & cleaned lettuce, yogurt and canned beans. Many processed foods are healthy and make eating well more convenient than making everything from scratch. So, processing itself is actually not bad—unless a food product is processed to an extreme.
“Extreme” processing is when something healthful has been taken out and/or something fake has been put in. The best way to avoid extreme, overly-processed stuff is to read the ingredients & limit C.R.A.P.
C.R.A.P. is an acronym that can help you spot overly-processed foods. Use my C.R.A.P. Guide when shopping to help you buy the best brands of your favorite foods.
