I’m jam obsessed. Sweet, sticky, spreadable. Yes, please. But most store-bought jam contains high sugar juice concentrates & other added sugars. So…
I created a superfood version free from additives & packed w/ nutrition. My jam makes store-bought jams jealous. #SuperSwap
Here’s why I’m in love:
You don’t have to be a domestic goddess to make your own jam. In fact, all you need is 5 minutes, 2 cups of fruit, 2 tablespoons of chia seeds & a small pot.
The magic ingredient – chia seeds – not only thickens the jam, but also adds healthy omega-3 fat, filling fiber & protein. You can use any fruit to make the jam. My favorite flavors are grape, strawberry, blueberry & black fig, but maybe yours will be raspberry, cherry, peach or plum. Here are some ideas of how to enjoy it:
-Spread on toast w/ almond butter for breakfast.
-Stir into plain 2% yogurt for natural sweetness.
-Add to a cheese board when entertaining (fig jam rocks).
– Make for a neighbor to seem thoughtful & fancy.
