Feel super HUNGRY all of the time???
Ask yourself these 7 questions:
1) Are you drinking enough water?
Dehydration can make you feel tired & hungry. Aim for 72-100 ounces of water/day.
2) Are you going too long between meals?
Getting too hungry overrides your body’s natural hunger-fullness cues. Eat satisfying, balanced meals every 4-6 hours.
3) Are your meals & snacks balanced?
Eating the right ratio of wholesome foods controls hunger. A balanced meal looks like THIS & a balanced snack looks like THIS.
4) Are you skimping or “dieting” at meals?
Undereating or depriving yourself of foods you enjoy will lead to grazing & binging. Eat enough at mealtime to feel satisfied: physically & mentally.
5) Are you present when eating?
Rushing, doing other things or not sitting down can cause you to feel dissatisfied. Practice: Single Tasking.
6) Are you sleeping enough?
Tired people crave quick energy in the form of food. Prioritize ~7 hours of sleep each night.
7) Are your emotions tricking you?
You may not be hungry, it may be stress or boredom. Learn the difference: Emotional cravings come from thoughts while hunger has physical signs like a grumbling stomach.
