PS: I’m not much for recommending sugar swaps that are HYPER sweet like stevia or artificial sweeteners (part of the CRAP list) because they can keep you programmed to like foods with intense sweetness. Instead I like these very SUBTLE sugar superswaps to help reset your tastebuds & mind to crave less sweet.

Why is stevia part of the CRAP list? Since it is derived from a plant, I thought it’d be ok?
Dawn says
I don’t love some stevia products out there because they are processed “extracts” and not the whole plant. The stevia that is 100% whole plant is better. However, I don’t include any stevia on my go-to food list because my experience is that it trains taste buds to keep needing sweet flavors. I prefer to retrain taste buds to enjoy more natural sweetness from fruit/dark chocolate/coconut flakes/cinnamon…and enjoying real sweets in social, fun situations only. 😉
