I usually panic this time of year.
Everyone is talking about making RESOLUTIONS & setting GOALS for the new year. It can feel like alot of pressure.
Instead of letting panic set in, I was recently reminded that the best advice for thinking about the year ahead is really quite simple: What would be FUN?
It used to seem counterintuitive to me to focus on FUN to accomplish anything. We are all taught the OPPOSITE: You need to “get serious” if you want to get something done. I now know that’s not true. Fun works.
I have witnessed FUN help me make better business decisions, win a reality show, work with the CUBS, and write The Superfood Swap book. With all that real-life proof, I have come to understand WHY fun works…
THE SCIENCE OF FUN
FUN works. Here’s how:
1. Creative. The vibe of FUN allows you to be super creative. When an obstacle pops up, your creative juices immediately start problem solving.
2. Daring. The vibe of FUN allows you to be more daring. You can be more open, free, and brave in making decisions and creating opportunities.
3. Energetic. The vibe of FUN allows you to have more energy and commitment to projects. When you are enjoying something, it’s easy to stick with it.
