My mom loves sardines. I never was a fan. Until NOW! After a sponsored trip to Portugal, I’m obsessed with sardines. Part for brain health, part because I learned a new, simple way to servethem.
We can optimize our brain function by eating more healthy omega-3 fats. Omega-3’s may bust stress, boost memory and reaction time, and increase brain gray matter, the tissue associated with higher intelligence.
Just open the can, drain, squeeze in fresh lemon juice & add chopped fresh parsley. Flake/mix with fork. Serve right in the can with crackers, olives & simple arugula salad. Pair w/ a small glass of wine, for authentic Mediterranean vibes.🍷
PS: There’s NO heads or tails in the can & NO need to remove any bones. They come packed in water or oil like tuna, I like oil ones.

Love your idea and the information about sardines. My husband loves sardines and I am not a big fan. I cook them! I cook onion, celery and sometimes mushrooms or tomatoes. I add drained sardines on top. Add lemon n parsley or thyme or oregano it depends.
