Not every meal we eat has to be a creative masterpiece destine for social media fame! Simple Works…especially on busy weekdays.
HOWEVER…too often I see people stuck in a MAJOR grilled chicken + brown rice + veggie RUT. Eating the same thing over & over & over. <Insert yawn here.>
👇Below are THREE EASY WAYS I’ve recently been adding excitement to simple chicken-rice-veg meals…
1. Put TZATZIKI on it!
Tzatziki is a Greek sauce made from yogurt, cucumber, and herbs. Two tablespoons gives you 2g protein & gut-boosting probiotics…and has only 30 calories. I’ve always made my own, but lately I’m buying it already made in a tub like this. #healthyshortcut
2. Put HUMMUS on it!
Hummus is so much more than a veggie dip! I use it as a “sauce” on meals…and it’s never boring since there are so many hummus flavors.
3. Put CAESAR on it!
Salad dressings ain’t just for salads, they make a perfect sauce for meals too. I love dressings made w/ avocado oil or high oleic sunflower oil such as this or this.
