There’s lots of things you can do to decrease bloating. Here’s my newest obsession…
ICED FENNEL TEA
This refreshing drink has the power to do wonders for your digestion.
Fennel is magic for your digestion. Fennel seeds contain compounds that relax digestive tract muscles which then helps reduce gas and relieve bloating.I’m drinking it ICED after lunch & dinner. But you can also drink it hot.
How to make ICED FENNEL TEA:
Add 1 tea bag* to a 16-ounce glass, pour in 8 ounces of almost boiling water, and let steep for 15 minutes.
Remove tea bag and add 1 cup of ice. Enjoy! Note: You can also make a big pitcher to keep in the fridge. 😉
*Tea bags are found in the tea section of most grocery stores, but you can make it w/ whole fennel seeds from the spice section. Use 1-2 teaspoons of seeds, crushed lightly on a cutting board with a wine bottle or rolling pin. Put the crushed seeds in a tea diffuser, add hot water, and let steep.
What does FENNEL TEA taste like?
It’s unsweetened, but fennel has a natural “sweet” taste. It tastes a little like black licorice, but don’t let that scare you away! I don’t like black licorice, but I’m loving the flavor of fennel tea.
