Kefir is basically drinkable yogurt, but with MORE strains of beneficial bacteria. Think of it like a natural probiotic pill.
Oats contain prebiotic fiber called beta glucan, which feeds the naturally good bacteria living in our gut.
Pro-tip: Try these everything oat crackers with a little tuna salad & veggies for lunch.
3. BONE BROTH
The gelatin naturally found in bone broth contains glutamic acid, which may help build, strengthen and heal our digestive tract.
Pro-tips: You can make bone broth from scratch, but I buy it pre-made. For a plant-based version, try veggie broth w/ turmeric & black pepper. It doesn’t have healing gelatin, but it is anti-inflammatory.
4. PEPPERMINT TEA
Peppermint tea helps with bloating by relaxing & soothing the digestive tract.
Pro-tip: Enjoy peppermint tea w/ a square of dark chocolate 🍫 as a nighttime ritual.
