Matcha Strawberry Latte!

a pretty Spring drink w/ benefits
INGREDIENTS & DIRECTIONS
1/2 cup strawberries
1 cup unsweetened plant milk
1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
1/2 teaspoon honey (or favorite sweetener)
🌸In a blender, blend strawberries + 1/2 cup milk.
🌸In a mug, whisk together matcha + 1/2 cup milk + honey (or favorite sweetener). Pro-tip: Add the milk a little at a time, it helps the matcha mix-in easier.
🌸To a cup filled with ice, add the strawberry milk + slowly top w/ matcha!

Matcha green tea powder is known for being mood & brain food, so I’m always trying to find ways to work it into my daily routine. Green tea has been linked to benefits such as reduced anxiety and improved attention, memory, and workout performance/ recovery.
Just a 1/2 cup of strawberries gives you about half of your daily vitamin C! Plus there’s all sorts of beneficial compounds in berries like anthocyanins that may reduce inflammation and cell damage.
Research finds when you pair matcha tea + vitamin C rich foods (like strawberries), you are better able to absorb beneficial tea compounds. That’s powerful food SYNERGY!⚡️
