Pick 1, 2, or 3 daily habits + draw yourself a “⭐️” each day you do it.
Resolution season is all about these HUGE resolutions to “eat better” or “lose weight” or “be healthier.” However, to make real change, big resolutions need to be broken down into SMALL. ENJOYABLE. DAILY. HABITS…that can be TRACKED.
Tracking leads to successful habit change. And that’s no surprise because life is busy/distracting & it’s easy to forget your focus and lose momentum.
Daily tracking can help you remember what you want to accomplish & see day-by-day progress which is motivating. Tracking is a way to recommit daily to yourself and the change you want to make in your life.
In our diet culture, we have been taught to track calories, macros, scale weight, but you know those things don’t feel high vibe. So shift your tracking to SMALL habits that are easy enough to accomplish so you set yourself up for daily wins + ENJOYABLE enough that you actually want to do them.
Here are some ideas to get you started…
Add a fruit or vegetable to each meal; drink 8 glasses of water; drink hot lemon water each morning; plate each meal to look pretty; eat each meal and snack seated & relaxed; enjoy a little green salad w/ dinner; chew each bite of food 15 times to help digestion; take daily supplements; pause 5 minutes before taking seconds; set alarm 30 minutes early for a less rushed morning; say a daily positive affirmation; find 3 things to be grateful for; move your body at least 10 minutes; do 5 minutes of stretching; do 5 minutes of meditation; put away electronics 1 hour before bed; etc.
PPS: I used to use a “checkmark,” but drawing a STAR feels more high vibe. Like a loving pat on the back.💕
