HAPPY POOPS!
I’ve been traveling, which tends to distrupt my… regularity. So I’ve personally been extra interested in realistic & natural strategies to keep my digestion moving along in a healthy & happy way.
I’ve been posting some “regularity recipes” for Happy Poops on my Instagram page and here are my 3 favorites:
#1. Fiber Crunch Bark
#2. Rasberries + Yogurt
#3. Kiwi
#1. FIBER CRUNCH BARK
Mix together 1/2 cup high-fiber cereal (I used Food for Life sprouted whole grain cereal) + 1/4 cup melted dark chocolate chips. Spread on a parchment-lined plate and freeze for 15 minutes.
Pro-Tip: Any time you increase fiber, be sure to increase your water because you need them both for regularity.
#2. RASPBERRIES & YOGURT
Pair 1 cup of raspberries (8 grams fiber) + Greek yogurt to add gut-friendly probiotics. Want this to be more dessert-like? Stir 1-2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder into the yogurt.
#3. KIWI
Research shows 2 kiwi per day can help with regularity. Two kiwi have 6 grams of fiber and the specific type of fiber can hold lots of water to help things keep moving in your digestive tract. Kiwi works as well or better than psyllium, which is a classic Happy Poops food.
