My Go-To Summer Picnic Menu
This past weekend, I went to an outdoor concert in the park with my girlfriends. I offered to bring the food because I have a go-to PICNIC MENU that is perfect for summer fun.
We had SO much fun being outside, talking, laughing… and the food and drinks fueled our good times! I highly recommend you plan a summer picnic with your friends or family and give this menu a try!
WHY I LIKE THIS PICNIC MENU
✅ Balanced & health-conscious: Includes fruits, veggies, whole grains, protein, and healthy fats.
✅ Easy to prep: Nothing complicated or time-consuming… simple ingredients, quick assembly.
✅ No silverware needed: Designed for hands-only, no-fuss blanket dining.
✅ Feels good & tastes great: Satisfying and craveable without being heavy.
✅ No overwhelm: So many picnic recipes online are too labor-intensive or not very nutritious… this one gets it just right.

PICNIC NOTES
– Pack it: Put it all in a cooler bag with some ice packs, frozen water bottles, or a baggie of ice to keep it fresh.
– Time saver: Buy grilled chicken breasts from the deli instead of grilling them yourself.
– Veg Swap: Swap the grilled chicken for grilled tofu.
– Hummus fun: Try a new craveable flavor like hot honey, lemon dill, buffalo ranch, french onion, or spinach-artichoke.
– Make it cute: Wrap each sandwich in parchment paper with a rubber band.
– Drinks: Bring sparkling water and water with electrolyte powder (for flavor & extra hydration). Optional: Vodka or tequila for an adult spike.
– Vibes: Bring a speaker for music & a deck of cards for fun.
– Don’t forget: A blanket, cups/plates/napkins, hand wipes, sunscreen, bug spray, and a trash bag.
– Solo joy: Picnics aren’t just for groups. A solo spread with a book or journal can be a great way to recharge.
