The R.E.S.E.T. Plan
Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving weekend!
This time of year, there’s lots of pie, parties, and holiday hustle.
And it can leave you feeling a little less energized, a bit weighed down, or just out of your usual groove.
The GOOD NEWS is that you don’t need any drastic measures or detoxes. Small, intentional steps can bring you back to feeling your best.
Here’s a 5-step RESET to refuel, recharge, and realign with how you want to feel this week and throughout the holiday season (and of course it’s an acronym, because I’m obsessed with them)…
The R.E.S.E.T. Plan
5 steps to get back to feeling your best
R: Refuel with Real Food
Enjoy meals that have protein + produce.
This combo stabilizes energy, supports metabolism, and gives your body the nutrients it’s craving.
Try: an egg scramble + berries, a ranch chicken and veggie wrap, or a hot honey salmon and broccoli bowl.
E: Exhale the Guilt
Release any “I shouldn’t have eaten that” or “I should have done a workout” thoughts. No shame. No spirals. No self-lecturing.
Guilt keeps you stuck. Non-judgmental awareness moves you forward.
S: Sip & Sleep
Dehydration and fatigue make the “post-holiday slump” feel so much worse.
Drink water, herbal tea, and sparkling water throughout the day. And at night, start playing a sleep meditation before you get into bed to shift into wind-down mode. Insight Timer is a great resource for free sleep meditations.
E: Eat at the Table
This is my most powerful tip EVER…
Eat every meal & snack with a Table-Plate-Chair.
No standing at the fridge.
No nibbling over the sink.
No eating while multitasking.
Eating at the table grounds you, rewires your food relationship, and naturally brings more balance and satisfaction to meals.
T: Take a Walk
Movement is your mood booster, digestion helper, and confidence restarter. It doesn’t need to be a long or “perfect” workout.
Even 5–10 minutes counts. Your body loves to be reminded that it’s capable and strong. I’ve been loving my walking pad to get in extra steps on cold days or when I want to walk in my pajamas and watch a TV show!
A RESET isn’t punishment or penance.
It’s about reconnecting with how you want to feel… light, energized, strong, grounded.
Every tiny shift helps you feel more like YOU again.
You’ve got this.
