One of my favorite ways to create better habits is using 7-Day Challenges.
I assign 7-Day Challenges to myself & clients all. the. time. Basically a 7-Day Challenge is a HEALTHY HABIT YOU WANT TO REPEAT FOR 7 DAYS. Read more about them HERE.
Recently I assigned myself a 7-Day Challenge of drinking a glass of water before my morning coffee. But then it occurred to me that I didn’t have a fun TRACKING TOOL to help me stay accountable & motivated.
I looked for a tracker to use but, I discovered all the habit trackers available were super OVERWHELMING.🤯 They ask you to track for longer than 7 days & track more than 1 habit. Since what I wanted didn’t exist, I created my own 7-Day Challenge TRACKER. I’m loving it, so now I’m sharing it with you…
HOW IT WORKS:
1. Pick ONE 7-Day Challenge. I have 52 examples HERE.
2. For 7 days, TRACK each day you complete the habit.
3. Watch your daily ACTION add up to create real momentum.
POWER STREAKS & MINI STREAKS:
After you track for 7 days…
If you get 6 or 7 successful days, you’ve created a POWER STREAK!
If you get 4 or 5 successful days, you’ve created a MINI STREAK.
A “HABIT STREAK” is how many days you successfully do your healthy habit. HABIT STREAKS make you feel proud of your string of accomplishments & seeing that success is motivating. HABIT STREAKS create healthy momentum and then there’s no stopping you!
Each time you create a STREAK, it’s a feel-good dopamine hit to your brain.
