Listen. I know you know how to put ingredients in a bowl & make a salad, but it’s the RIGHT COMBO of veggies & other ingredients that can get you out of a rut & appreciating salads again. Here’s a roundup of my fav 10 craveable salad combos…
1. RANCH SALAD
VEGGIES: Mixed greens, shredded carrots, celery, tomatoes
PROTEIN: Chicken or black beans
CARB: Sweet potato croutons
FAT: Ranch dressing
2. GREEK SALAD
VEGGIES: Romaine, tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, green bell pepper
PROTEIN: Chicken or chickpeas
CARB: Brown rice
FAT: Feta, olive oil, lemon juice & oregano
3. TACO SALAD
VEGGIES: Romaine, spinach, green onions, radish, salsa
PROTEIN: Chicken or pinto beans
CARB: Crushed tortilla chips
FAT: Guacamole & lime juice
4. ASIAN SESAME SALAD
VEGGIES: Coleslaw mix, red bell pepper, broccoli, green onions
PROTEIN: Chicken or edamame
CARB: Quinoa
FAT: Chopped almonds, toasted sesame oil & lime juice
5. HUMMUS SALAD
VEGGIES: Arugula, tomatoes, cucumber, peapods
PROTEIN: Salmon or lentils
CARB: Quinoa
FAT: Hummus dollop, olives & lemon juice
6. KALE CAESAR SALAD
VEGGIES: Romaine, chopped kale leaves, tomatoes, red onion

7. COBB SALAD
