Salad Dressings & Boosts
“A salad without dressing is just a bowl of veggies.”
The right dressing is EVERYTHING! They can make plain, boring salads WAY MORE CRAVEABLE. 😍
Some of the best dressings are the ones you can DIY at home. And listen, making salad dressing does NOT have to be drama. These 2 & 3-Ingredient Dressings are SUPER SIMPLE & can be made in just a few minutes!
2-INGREDIENT DRESSINGS
Mixing cheese w/ vinegar or lemon makes a great dressing in a pinch!
Try these:
✨Parmesan w/ red wine vinegar
✨Feta w/ a squeeze of lemon
✨Blue cheese w/ balsamic vinegar
3-INGREDIENT DRESSINGS
✨Peanut Cayenne: 2T peanut butter + 3T rice vinegar + pinch of cayenne
✨Lemon Hummus: 3T hummus + 1 lemon, juiced + 1/2 tsp dried dill
✨Fresh Raspberry: 1/4 cup mashed berries + 3T wine vinegar + 1 tsp honey
✨Almond Curry: 2T almond butter + 1T curry paste + 1 lime, juiced
✨Sriracha Cilantro: 1/4 cup plain 2% greek yogurt + 2T chopped cilantro + 1 tsp sriracha
✨Tahini Honey: 2T tahini + 3T cider vinegar + 1 tsp honey
TIPS & TRICKS…⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
ONE SALAD METHOD:
Mix the dressing ingredients in the bottom of the bowl you’re making the salad in… then TOP with your salad veggies and TOSS. Making the dressing in the same salad bowl you’re eating from cuts down on clean-up. 😉

BIGGER BATCH METHOD:
Make 3 or 4 times these recipes in a mason jar, shake-up & refrigerate to have on hand for the week.
BOOSTERS:
Supercharge your salads!
✨Add turmeric + black pepper to any dressing for an anti-inflammatory boost.
✨Sprinkle on chia-hemp-flax seeds for a protein, fiber & omega-3 fat boost.
✨Top w/ sesame-seaweed sprinkle for a mineral boost.
THEMES:
Sprinkle in dried herbs like oregano or spice mixes like taco seasoning to salads to give them a THEME like italian or southwestern!

📝BUYING SALAD DRESSING:
I also use bottled salad dressing ALL the time & there ain’t no shame in that game! Just be sure to pick a good one. Look at the ingredients for 1) healthy oils like olive, avocado, or high oleic sunflower oil + 2) recognizable ingredients + 3) no added sweeteners.💥
